Brian Simpson Biography


Throughout Brian's career, and as General Manager, he has been instrumental in providing leadership for strategic planning and oversight for all facets of business. These include human resources; health, safety and the environment; operations; maintenance; engineering; logistics; cost control; and community stewardship.

He earned a MBA with emphasis on Engineering, and a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering Technology (B.A.S). Brian applied his learnings and career experiences to fulfill roles as an Electronics Engineer; Journeyman Electrician; Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor; Instrumentation and Automation Engineer; Planning and Scheduling Superintendent; Maintenance Manager; Engineering Manager; and General Manager.

Career experience includes military contracting; chemical manufacturing; mining and mineral processing; industrial incineration; oil and gas refining; and medical device manufacturing.

Qualifications include: Certified Six Sigma Black Belt. Radiation Safety Office (RSO). Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP). Completed Lean Principles training and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Tim Juvera Biography


Tim Juvera has a broad and diverse experience with global and domestic mining industry in both line and functional roles. Throughout his career he has led diverse teams to accomplish stretch goals while exceeding expectations through his leadership. His focus is always on people development, pragmatic goal setting, and team accountability.

Qualifications include: US Military Veteran. BS in Engineering Management with a Mechanical Minor. Directed work in the Asset Management field. Certified Six Sigma Black Belt. Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP). Trained in Lean Principles and Project Management.

He was Department Head and Manager of Asset Management, Energy, and Engineering for a global mining company. During his accomplished career he led major projects including brownfield start-ups, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementations and upgrades, and large capital projects exceeding $150M.

Under his leadership Tim led numerous initiatives resulting in significant improvements in safety, productivity, cost performance in asset management, operations, projects, and other peripheral functions.

Bryan Pett has a broad and deep experience with global and domestic mining industry in both line and functional roles. He possesses a strong understanding of the required systems, symbols, and behaviors for successful teams and businesses. His understanding has led to demonstrated accomplishments and improvements to safety, productivity and cost performance in operations, and functions and projects.

Experience included: Leadership of front-line maintenance and operational teams. Manager and General Manager level of Human Resources. Health Safety and Environment (HSE). Processing Operations. In addition, he has led major projects including implementing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software for a large business. Experience also includes business improvement and leadership coaching in multiple countries.

Areas of expertise include: Leading operational and functional teams. Leadership coaching. Operational excellence. Business improvement. Project management. Health and safety, including systems and regulations. Human resources, including labor relations and collective bargaining.

Jennifer Throndsen is an experienced educator with over 20 years of experience. This had provided a deep understanding of adult learning principles while working closely with organizations to design strategic plans aligned to their vision with actionable goals.

Qualifications include: Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction. Master’s in Education. Certification in Administration.

She specializes in helping organizations navigate the complexities of growth and change. Using a collaborative, facilitative approach she guides leadership teams in the development and implementation of strategic plans that address both short-term objectives and long-term success.

Chanthy Hamlin

Chanthy Hamlin is a certified Project Manager with experience in process improvement, risk management, and project management.

She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering from the University of Utah and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.

Chanthy is known for her strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, and her ability to deliver effective presentations, consult on projects, and maintain collaborative relationships. She is adept at recommending improvements strategically, tactically, and operationally, and is skilled in identifying and implementing solutions to mitigate risks.

Chanthy enjoys helping teams identify strategic business gaps and deficiencies through collaboration and facilitation of risk and opportunities analysis and management workshops to improvement decision making, leverage opportunities to improve business cases, maximize project value, optimize planning and prioritization, which leads to confidence in plans, projects, and execution to ensure sustainable success.

John Wright Biography

John Wright started his career serving a 5-year mechanical apprenticeship in England where he graduated as a Mechanical Engineer. After moving to the USA, John became a Mechanical Millwright given he enjoyed working with his hands and wanted to learn the tools of the trade. This hands-on experience combined with his mechanical engineering and professional background allowed him to quickly move up the career and corporate ladder.

As Corporate Manager for a global Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) company he led the Business and Applications Consulting group. He also held an influential role as the Operational Readiness Manager with a global mining company responsible for delivering multi-million-dollar turnkey projects.

In later years John owned his own Strategic Business and Applications Consulting business where he worked with a variety of corporate clients at all levels within the respective organizations.

Cumulative career experiences span: Aerospace. Automotive. Chemical. Education. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. Logistics. Manufacturing. Mining. Nuclear. Petrochemical. Pharmaceutical. Power generation, Department of Energy. Department of Defense. Supply chain. Warehousing.
